Moron complains to abuse@badtux.org (me)

Yet another followup[3-22-2002]: Yes indeed, Robin Hood Software is running scared! They have put up a message asking that their affiliates and customers contact abuse@above.net to complain about this site! Gosh, what a bunch of hosers.

Here's a moron complaining to abuse@badtux.org (me), in Robin Hood Software's latest attempt to "deal" with me (geez, what a racketeering operation those guys run, let's see, they try to get me fired from my job by making false complaints, now try to get me kicked off my ISP with false complaints!). Note that he attached my picture to this attempt (what a lamer!), you already know what my ugly mug looks like so I left it off this. See my reply to him afterwards.

A bit of a follow-up: Please do not abuse Anthony Dacko about the following message. Anthony Dacko runs an excellent expose' of the British fox-hunting industry at www.anthony-dacko.net. I have had an EMAIL conversation with the real Anthony Dacko and he speculates that this was an attempt to get abusive messages sent to the ISP of his anti-dog-hunting site. Imagine, someone using Anthony Dacko's good name to defend people who sell products via spam and deceptive advertising!

Have you ever noticed that the kind of illiterate people who buy into the whole "evidence eliminator" scam can rarely spell or use proper grammar? Let's see, "false lies" means "truths", right, except I don't think that's what this guy was trying to say! Okay, here's my reply:

Thank you for your contribution to the http://evidence-eliminator-sucks.com
site. Now I can add "attempting to interfere with my Internet connectivity"
to "attempting to interfere with my employment" on the web site under the
list of things that Robin Hood Software and its affiliates have tried to do.
Your message (complete with all header information) is going online as soon
as I can get it there.

Heheh. Haven't you read
dis-information.shtml lately? According to
that page, "John Bryant" doesn't exist! So how can he be posting untrue
information? (And, BTW, what information on the site is untrue? I'd like to
know, so I can correct it -- gosh amighty, I wouldn't want to LIE, that's
what Robin Hood Software specialises in, see my spoof of their lying
"investigation" web application at
http://evidence-eliminator-sucks.com/bogus-warning.php).

Note that nowhere do I say that Evidence Eliminator does not work. I have not
used it, and do not intend to use it, and thus will not say it does not work
(even though many of my correspondents will). I *DO* say that it is
advertised via false and deceptive advertising that implies that it'll do
things it doesn't do (it will not, for example, hide your IP address and
cookies from the sites you browse, you'll need an anonymizer for that). Let's
face it, it may or may not be a good $39.95 file wiping program, but bloating
it up and selling it for $150 via deceptive ads claiming you've done
something illegal and you'll be fired and/or go to jail if you don't use it,
well, that is the work of scumbags, not of reputable business people.
