Hi Guys First of all - I actually wrote a similar "question" in the FlipBooklets LTD deal. I watched some fliipbooks on your site. I wanted to watch the downloadable pdf. When opening in full-screen and I'm not able to use the ESC key to leave the full-screen. No way, apart from finding the right F10 - F11 or F12 on my Keyboard. I do not want my customers to the experience of getting stuck. There should be an easy way to leave and go back if/when the pdf is opened in fullscreen. In a usability perspective ought to be an optic, very noticeable symbol for entering full screen and leaving full screen, perhaps something else than only a symbol (maybe as text; Open/Close or Full-Screen/Leave Fullscreen? Thanks, Cheers
Thanks for getting in touch and for your feedback.
We have already implemented the ESC key to leave fullscreen and it works well with all our tests. There is the fullscreen symbol and text on hover in the toolbar too.
It would be great to know the browser and device you are using as there may be an issue with one of those. Please contact support@flipbooklets.com and we will be...
I tested again - and yes there is also a Popup-text that inform readers that one can use ESC to leave full screen. However that Pop-up disappears after a couple of seconds. I would prefer if it stay on the screen, as I'm sure many "ordinary" users don't even notion that text. People aren't that techsavy as most geeks in here :-) Happy New Year everyone.
Q: Embedding into Websites
Hi Flip Booklets! I was wondering if you have an example of what it would look like if you embedded the Flip Booklet into a website?
If not, DOES the reader HAVE to leave the site to consume the Flip Booklet? Or can they simply stay on the site to consume it and go back to experiencing the site?
Thanks for your question. On the book list screen you have two options to embed. The windowed embed and the fullscreen embed. Both will mean the reader does not have to leave the page where they are embedded to consume.
The windowed embed will appear wherever you paste it in your website. The fullscreen embed will automatically take over the entire page and the book will...
Thanks for your question. afraid I cannot give you a more definitive answer, we are not sure how long it will be available for at the moment.
Sorry, you won't be able to download the full flip book. We take care of all the hosting and delivery of the Flip Books so you don't have to, it is all part of the service.
